WALK SUMMARY

If you are visiting the remarkable, mysterious Roman building (a temple before becoming a church?) at Boveda near Lugo in Galicia, consider this interesting and charming 1hr45 circuit through the intriguingly unchanged villages (hamlets) and fields of the rough, wooded hill country on the west (Santiago) side of Lugo. It even shares a section with a stretch of a less-known version of the Camino.
