Key information: Langdale Pikes

    • Some of the Lakes' favourite walking, craggy peaks directly above the Great Langdale valley.
    • All sorts of options. The best would be a gorgeous circuit climbing to Stickle Tarn, a swing round (using the infamous Jack's Rake if you feel up to it) to Harrison Stickle and on south above the high crags to the Langdale Pikes, then back down the long Mark Gat ridge.
    • See our Lake District page for further practical and general information and photos.
