I went in September to see two major hikes and the first was Iceline. The best thing to do is see Takakkaw Falls up close at the parking lot before you get to the trail. The trail then goes up some forest until a rocky patch with glaciers. The highlight is the point that juts out overlooking the waterfall. As you continue you get to the glaciers and at that point I would suggest turning back to save time. The forest hike going down is uninteresting and just tacks on extra time with no reward. Still the highlights make it worth seeing.
