WALK SUMMARY
The fabulous volcano of Cerro Crocker is Santa Cruz's highest point. For a wilder trek, take the muddy, rocky path to this dramatic volcano with its huge views. You will meet a fabulous selection of vegetation and wildlife. An 8+ km trek one way. Guide needed.
This is demanding walking in tough, remote volcanic landscape. Come prepared, including bringing plenty of water.
