WALK SUMMARY
Volcan Alcedo has a caldera some 7 km across and offers exceptional views. It is a major home to giant tortoises.
A fairly demanding two day hike (camping a night). Guide and permits required.
This is demanding walking in tough, remote volcanic landscape. Come prepared, including bringing plenty of water.
