Odessa Lake
Key information: Odessa Lake
Walk to outstanding Odessa Lake, gaining fantabulous views of Longs Peak and The Little Matterhorn and other mountains. A longer route than Bear Lake to Fern Lake.
After climbing through forest, you reach the high point and a side-trip to gorgeous Lake Helena. Then drop into deep Odessa Gorge to reach the lake. Camp near the lake.
You can walk in/out from Bear Lake Trailhead or Fern Lake Trailhead - they are roughly equal distance. And a shuttle bus from Moraine Visitor Centre makes it easy to get to/away from if you do both trails.
2 day walk, 19.9km
