WALK SUMMARY
This is one of the finest walks in the Ardnamurchan area, a rough but superb 885m mountain looming over Loch Linnhe.
The shorter (8km) route approaches it from the south-ish, climbing to join a long and in places steep ridge which leads you in turn to the main summit ridge.
The other approach route would be to follow the long horseshoe around huge and magnificent Choire an Lubhair, round to Garbh Bheinn, then descend the path described above. This would be a demanding walk on poor paths (if any), with at last one steep, scrambly climb.
